Study shows lower heat development in Söring‘s bone instrument

Focus Ultrasound

Since 1985 we are known for innovative products in Ultrasonic surgery. Starting in Liver surgery and subsequently developing applications in neurosurgery our company gained considerable successes. Today our worldwide revenues are primarily driven by our ultrasonic products at a share of 80% and we are serving customers in about 90 countries. Meanwhile further medical disciplines benefit from our products such as spinal surgery and treatment of chronic wounds. These latter applications are very promising for our future. In order to expedite development and production of these newer and further ultrasonic products we will from now on focus our efforts on ultrasonic products only.

Live operation on the ocassion of the Surgical Week at Asklepios Klinik Barmbek

Söring presented itself once again at the Surgical Week organized by the Asklepios Klinik in Barmbek/Hamburg. This nationwide event was organized by the Department of General and Visceral Surgery. The Department of General and Visceral Surgery is a Reference Center for Surgical Diseases of the Liver, certified by the German Society for General and Visceral Surgery. In its three days this year Surgical Week focused on different topics like: gastrointestinal surgery, liver surgery and pancreatic surgery. Part of this program were interactive live operations as well as detailed topic presentations.

On that day with the focus on liver surgery, we exhibited at the industrial fair and supported in the operating theater. During the live operations, our irrigation forceps as well as our ultrasonic surgical macro-instruments were successfully used for open and laparoscopic liver surgery.
